Located in Albany, Oregon, ATI Wah Chang’s headquarters comprises 180 buildings on 110 acres. The reactive and refractory metals producer has been making zirconium mill products since 1956. Today ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100-certified ATI Wah Chang manufactures an expanded line of metal products that include hafnium, niobium, tantalum, titanium, vanadium, and zirconium. In addition ATI Wah Chang produces a line of chemical and beneficial co-products, like siltet.
Mill product forms include ingot, slab, billet, bar, rod, tube, seamless tube, extrusions, wire, sheet, strip, foil, castings, forgings, sponge, crystal bar, and powder in a wide variety of sizes. ATI Wah Chang’s Aerospace Machine Shop is capable of producing custom shapes for aerospace and other applications.
The company’s casting facility produces everything from pump casings for processing applications to near net shape components for armor and other uses. In addition to providing specialty metals, ATI Wah Chang offers technical services including Analytical, Corrosion, and Metallurgical Laboratory Services. ATI Wah Chang’s Analytical Lab is ISO/IEC 17025 certified.
