Our history goes back 106 years. In 1899 C. Fred Sauereisen, who worked with George Westinghouse in the development of the first porcelain insulator, founded the Sauereisen Cements Company. Mr. Sauereisen developed our first cement, which is still used on practically every automobile manufactured in the United States.
Through the years, Sauereisen has been the vanguard of specialty cement development, both anticipating and reacting to the corrosion protection requirements of industrial markets: power, steel, chemical processing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, refining, pulp & paper, municipal wastewater treatment, and ESD applications.
We offer a complete line of organic and inorganic corrosion-resistant materials of construction for new and rehabilitation applications. Prime considerations in selecting the proper materials are chemical environment, service temperature, physical abuse and type of unit or area requiring protection.
Sauereisen has a domestic and international network of technical sales representatives in major cities throughout the world. Our manufacturing and warehouse facilities located in the United States, Europe and the Pacific Rim provide worldwide product distribution.
There is no single system to all chemical-resistant construction challenges. Sauereisen's expert technical staff and material technologies help you to a single source.
