CC Technologies Laboratories and CC Technologies Canada provides one of the largest groups of scientists in North America specializing in materials degradation (metals, polymers, and coatings). Areas of expertise include corrosion, polymer/coating degradation, environmentally assisted cracking, high temperature oxidation, creep, and fatigue. The laboratories group consists of eleven Ph.D. scientists and many M.S. and B.S. level researchers (Metallurgical, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical, Ceramic, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, and Petroleum Engineering and Geology).

Research and testing laboratories are located in Dublin, Ohio U.S.A. and Calgary, Alberta Canada. The combined Dublin, Ohio and Calgary, Alberta facilities provide 38,000 ft2 of offices and testing laboratories. The laboratories' facilities include state-of-the-art electrochemical test instrumentation, high temperature autoclaves, soils laboratory, servo-hydraulic and mechanical cyclic load machines, asbestos testing laboratory, metallography laboratory, inhibitor test equipment, coating and polymer laboratory, high temperature-pressure steam loops, multi-phase flow loops, scanning and transmission electron microscopes, and atomic force microscope.

The laboratories' staff performs most NACE/ASTM standard corrosion related test methods and specializes in one-of-a-kind test systems specially designed to solve a client's problem. Dr. John A.
