Eastern Instruments, a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, is an engineered solutions company located adjacent to the North Carolina International State Port in Wilmington, North Carolina. Since 1984, the Company has been engaged in the development of solid particle mass and airflow measuring and control systems for clients in the food, petrochemical and agricultural industries. Many of the legend companies use Eastern Instruments in processes making brands that touch the lives of millions every day.

Founded in 1984, Eastern has evolved into a manufacturing organization building engineered-to-order components and complete systems for clients located around the globe. Backed by more than thirty patents and an experienced staff of engineers and designers, the Company's focus is on the use of mass flow technology for mixing, blending, inventory control, truck/rail car load out, and much more for the chemical, plastics, aggregates, and food industries.

The company operates facilities on several sites within the Landmark Industrial Area. Included among these are the general and engineering offices, prototype development, systems assembly and machine and fabrication shops. The testing laboratory resides in its own building and has the capability of replicating most customer applications for mass flow devices. An airflow chamber is also available for testing and validation.

• The CentriFlow® Meter is a mass flow meter for measuring bulk solid materials continuously in a process. Solid construction, low maintenance, and a compact package allow it to be installed almost anywhere.
• The High Beta® airflow measurement system is ideal for either new or retrofit industrial applications where insufficient straight duct runs are present and/or accuracy is required.
• The VAP³® airflow measurement system is ideal for either new or retrofit industrial applications. When inserted in gas flow ducts, the VAP³® provides an accurate, differential pressure output allowing for precise airflow measurement or control of your process.
