Probe Anodes- MATCOR Print E-mail

MATCOR Probe anodes are used for the impressed current cathodic protection of condenser water boxes, internal surfaces of pipelines, vessels and other industrial equipment.

Unlike conventional bayonet style probe anodes which typically rely on a sealant squeezed between the anode element and the outer shield, MATCOR’s design uses a series of machined grooves with o-rings and labyrinth seals to provide multiple sealing surfaces. These internal water stops provide significantly improved reliability and greater resiliency in what is often a very difficult service. Our probe anodes are pressure tested before leaving the factory. All MATCOR probe anodes are manufactured with a stainless steel corrosion resistant housing and a machined fiberglass shield element. They are available with or with out an external conduit housing box for external piping.
